Hi everyone,

Hope you are enjoying a brief bit of early summer weather. I am so tired of rain and cloudy skies. Everyone at school, including the kids, is dragging their feet and yawning - how do people do it when they live in rainy climates? Sunshine is SOOOO refreshing!

Pete and I had our yard sale last weekend, in the rain and cold. We decided to hold another one this Saturday so that we can take advantage of the weather and hopefully catch a few more people. The turnout last weekend was good but not brilliant and there is ever so much more "stuff" to unload. My personal goal is to reduce the price of our move by enough money to fund a holiday to England. That means serious divesting!! It feels SOOOOOOO good! I am still hanging on to craft items I had at the Marina - seriously!

We are planning to go to England next year during March Break - if Pete's PR card is here in time - ohhhh he hates government bureaucracy, you can almost hear his blood boil!

So, on to the purpose of my blog. We are hoping to get as many of us together as we can to say goodbye to the house and us before we leave in July. We chose June 17 because it seemed to work for a lot of us who were at Mom's at Easter. I hope that it works for those of you who weren't there.

We thought we would spend the afternoon chatting, throw something on the barbie in early afternoon and have a potluck for supper around 3 or so, just like our Christmas reunion.

Pete and I will provide the hamburgers, hotdogs, and sausages (including buns!) we will have some veggie burgers (can you tolerate the ones made from beans and millet?) and the condiments.

We will also have SOME beer and wine but feel free to bring your own .

Could everyone else bring an assortment of salads, snacks, dessert, and drinks for the kiddies? If you would like me to get them some pop which type to they prefer?

Keep your fingers crossed that we have a nice day so that we can be outside and that the mosquitoes are tolerable.

Pete and I have become proud owners of an outdated but otherwise healthy Nintendo system; however, should the boys require something more modern, feel free to bring that too.

Hope to see you soon :-)
