oops!
After reading what I had posted I realized I had forgotten to mention a few (very dear and near to our hearts) people who weren't with us.
Neil: We missed you! Everyone kept expecting you to walk around a corner and the house was emptier without your wonderful jolly laugh. How is the furnace now!
Sarah: MSN is sooooo much better when we can talk and look at the same time!
Mom and Dad: Of course it would have been a much better party had you been there. You would have been delighted with your amazingly wonderful handiwork! What a great gang you have! You were never far from our thoughts or conversation!
Gary: Maybe some day it will work out that you can be with us. What a party that would be! We send you our love.

Oh dear, you were so busy loading up Maria's things that yours got left behind. I'll pop it in the mail for you! How did Maria's furniture look? Does everything fit OK? It feels great to be able to find a home for some of our stuff. Maria, are you sure you don't want another lamp? :-)

Oh Maria please take that lamp - she's always trying to get me to take it ;-) The one family treasure she can't wait to part with!!
I'm sorry I missed all the fun on the weekend. It sounds like everyone had a great time. And to all of you non-believers who said I didn't look sick ... I probably could have made the trip except for my mother urging me to stay home and not drive that long trip "without a man" in the car. GASP! So for the first time in my life I took her advice and stayed home instead of braving the weather ;-)
Next year though!
