good news!

Hello everyone!

Pete and I returned from TO yesterday with good news. My wee little polyps were all benign. What a relief!! I am still in a "higher risk" catagory and have to have yearly mammograms and exams but nothing to worry about right now.

I am soooooooooo looking forward to our party on Saturday! I am so glad that Tony and gang are coming (duct tape and all!) We are also excited that Matt will be here. He arrives by bus sometime today.

We are keeping our fingers crossed that Sarah gets better and will still be making the trip. She's down with a nasty cold.

So, back to planning:
Should I be stocking up on drinks? Pop, juice, etc. I'll have beer and wine for the adults. I could put on some cider but if I remember correctly it wasn't a big hit last year. I'll have tea, coffee, and water of course. Any suggestions for the non alcohol crowd?

I'll make some popcorn and have some chips for snacking. Anyone else bringing snacks?

Pete and I were wondering if someone has a game system they could bring for the older kids to play with. There will be pool and darts of course, but a couple of video games would be cool too.

Keep praying for good weather. Tony, we have extra beds in case you decide to stay. Do you have a couple of sleeping bags you could throw in the car just in case? Oh and if you still need driver's instructions : Pete wasn't much help was he ;-) then email me directly. I don't want to post them on the blog.

We plan on eating around 3ish but do come early so we can have a good visit.
