First Publication

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to the Lawley Times. This blog is dedicated to all those hard-working, wonderful, and oh-so-faraway family members. I hope that you will use this site to keep us all posted as to your daily events, celebrations, comedies, warm fuzzies, and other news.
This site is not just restricted to Lawley family members!

So, for starters:

The date for our family reunion in Orangeville, Ontario is Saturday December 3rd. Also noteworthy is that this is my dad Larry's birthday. He would have been 80.

I am supposed to arrange the food. The comment button at the bottom of the page will allow you to post what you are bringing. Pete and I have decided to have some hot foods. I thought - sorry vegetarians ;-) that we would make some meatballs and sauce and keep them warm until dinner and a mashed potatoe/sweet potato cassorole and some cabbage salad. I'm not big on making desserts so I'm putting that out there. Also, snacks, drinks, and other salads? Keep in mind that we want to keep the menu kiddie and transportation friendly. It'll be an early meal (around 3) and buffet style. Come early. See you soon.

Hi everyone,
Just back from my first staff meeting since last January: Easily the thing I like the least about my job.
Sorry Carole can't make it but we understand entirely - I'm always doublebooking myself.
Tony, please do try and come. We would love to have you all stay the night. Might be a good time to invest in a portable DVD player and a couple of new movies for the trip - works for Ethan!
Are Amy and Ally going to be able to come?
I'll blog again on the 29th and bring everyone up to date on me!
Thanks for logging on.

Hi All,

I love blogging!! Gregg and I can't make it on the 3rd either but we really wish we could be there is see everyone. We are also thinking of investing in a portable DVD player because the 6 hour drive to Orangeville is starting to wear on poor Sydney!

Bye for now,

Hope
